His Simon cosplay was comparably epic, too. But I worship Lavi a bit more than anything else, so I'd treasure this single shot than the rest of his blog :P

 

I absolutely enjoyed Anime Overload Festival (AOF) last Nov 8. A lot of folks I don't really know were able to recognize my cosplay, and they amusingly addressed me as "President". Although a lot of photographers referred me as the "yellow girl", which was witty and kind of bashing at some point hahaha 8D

There was this one group of friends who suggested that I should wear the "other version" for the next convention, which coincidentally is the grand Mangaholix Mania 2009. There was no need to comply to their request actually, because I've already set my mind to cosplay the
BATTLE FORM since long ago. Hah!~

Here's a brief overview of my cosplay progress:

Helmet: 80% [still lacking of the gray armor part]
Wig: Complete
Upper costume: 20% [front armor-ish material; ready]
Lower costume: 50% [only the skirt; ready]
Gloves and Armor: 20% [armor material; ready]
Leggings: 0%
Shoes: 0%
Contact Lense (blue): 0% [still not sure if I should avail one]

I still have a full week to ready my outfit. A full week. A FULL WEEK LKAJFASD *panics* Q___Q Waah I wish I could finish this in time. We'll be out tomorrow to attend the exhibitor's meeting for MMCon and to buy the materials I need at Divisoria.

Also, I'm contemplating on whether or not to spend my precious money on buying a pair contact lense. I've always, ALWAYS wanted to wear one for cosplay, and it's not like I'll be totally wasting my cash since I figured I'll be able to use it for my various future cosplay (Luka Megurine and Black Rock Shooter on the "sure" list). But, meh...I don't really know. And this'll be my first time to own one of ever, so I'm totally a no0b at this. Do you think it's worth it? :3

Lastly, this cosplay will portray President Ritsuko Kubel Kettenkrad to the 3rd degree. Well, essentially, I'll be cosplaying as Saki Kasukabe of Genshiken who cosplayed the President of Kujibiki Unblance. Uh-huh, I'll cosplay an anti-otaku cosplayer lmao 8D 

So yeah, haha. I'll be at Mangaholix Mania 2009 wearing this costume. Goshness, I'm so thrilled to the core XD

So I put this half-assed bid on 2 books on eBay and ended up currently winning it *shots*

I mean, I really wanted them at first, but when I put my bid I kept being out-bidded by the previous one. Then I thought it's fine not to get those books at all as so I'm not so sure if I can pay them with the remaining balance on my paypal. But I don't know what hit me to bid "again" ahaha so yeah I ended up winning those books now. I'm fine taking them, but I kind of wish someone would out-bid me now ||OTL

Cosplay Mania is totally an awesome convention, and I would've enjoyed it more if I wasn't too tied-up with my booth at that time.

Then I thought, "it's been a long while since I've enjoyed a convention".

So for Anicon, I'll just pay someone to sell my stuffs on my booth so I can enjoy the con as a normal attendee. Heck, as a cosplayer I mean.

I'm supposed to cosplay Belarus of Axis Powers Hetalia, because she's awesome, and also to team up with my husband Andrea as she's gonna cosplay Hungary also from the same series. Sadly, when I showed my mom my cosplay plan she was utterly disappointed and said "Why that? Aren't there any sexier characters?"

What.

She never really can grasp the idea of cosplay (can't blame anyone haha). But it's not like I hate her, and I never really want to argue so I was left no choice but to choose another character whom I can relate to and not to pick some random sexy character like bitches usually do.

Finally, I came up with...


Bridget of Guilty Gear. Yes <3

Like any other blockhead, when I first saw "her", "she" became an instant favorite. Though I gave up immediately after using her in a few fights and switched to Millia (Millia, for the n00bs lol). Realization and SHOCK struck me when I learned "her" deepest, darkest secret.

Augh. This, THIS DUDE ruined my loli fetish.

But still, I love him to bits 8D

So yeah, I'll be cosplaying him for this upcoming Anicon.

His costume is less costly compared to Belarus' dress (I'll include the giant handcuff of course), so I'm kind of thankful that my mom rejected my initial plan. I already have a blond wig, so I'm thinking of getting myself a pair of jade green contacts instead? Not sure, but I guess that would be great XD

Gosh, now I'm really excited. Oh, and I'm also gonna join the cosplay competition and will probably say on stage "I'm sorry, I'm a guy".

Not sure, too. But that would be fun XD

I don't fucking get it why my messages and inquiries are fucking OBVIOUSLY being ignored by this certain business entity. If I only have any other alternative than these people I would've told them to just fucking stop from posting their advertisements online if they're gonna ignore customers. What the hell am I supposed to do to get a fucking decent reply. I even sent them a text message, they replied once, then I asked another question and I WAS IGNORED AGAIN ASKLDJLAKLJASD WHAT THE FUCK I'M A CUSTOMER I'M GONNA BUY FROM YOU GUYS GOD DAMN IT. 

AND HI THAR BUSINESS PEOPLE ON MULTIPLY. It's freaking posted on the my profile page that I don't accept business people unless you have a proper introduction. DAMN IT. I have a business account as well, and I believe it's plainly rude to just add people out-of-the-blue without any proper introduction of what and WHO THE HELL ARE YOU. Just this day I have to reject, like, 8 business contacts ASKDJKLASWHAT THE FUCK.
